Francis, he looks really rough. Get him under misters for hours. Nothing in your video looks good--get him to a vet asap. In the meantime, get him under mist--hours of misting from an automatic mister or a shower. Have a shower bounce off the wall so only tiny mist floats around the plant you put him on.

Sometimes when the chameleon eats hard shell feeder ,they will bump their throat up,did he only do that one time or several time thru out the day??

At least is not URI but keep monitoring him on every move, observations is the best method to determine if there is something wrong with him,I observed all my chameleon thru out the day ,this way it will be easy to catch if there is something wrong before gets worst,Vet check up is a great idea along with the fecal float test.

Something he swallow is irritating him,he is trying to clear his throat.... it could be a hard feeders legs or hard shell that scrape in his throat or even sits in his digestive system and he is trying to regurgitate the "things" out ,but having a terrible hard time to do so

Guys... sad news "badush" is DEAD...a hefty price & learning process..

I'm very sorry for your loss. You mention a learning process but your post doesn't have a lot of information/answers in it. What did you learn? What did the vet say?

From the scant information you gave, one thing stands out to me--you said he drinks a lot. I never see my chameleons drinking so I wonder if he was either kept in too dry conditions so he was chronically dehydrated, or he had some sort of disease that would increase his water intake. He looked very rough in the picture back in November. Also, your enclosure seemed to lack live plants or anything at the top of the cage (where he is likely to be) that would hold mist droplets for him to drink at his leisure.

Maybe you had all those husbandry issues fixed after your original posts back in November--I didn't follow your thread.

Again, sorry for your loss.

Thanks GUYS...yeah kinda sad.. I brought "badush" back to the shop keeper but after a week he died... anyways that didnt deter me...I bought another CHAM this time
its a Spiny Cham....named "rex" and also boosted my setup with MistKing courtesy of Marty of mistking.. will be posting a new thread for "REX" since Spiny's are not that common on our forums...:)
