It is only about 3-4 months old max. How can you tell it's a female?

She doesn't seem to have any colors. If you want people to really be able to tell, take a picture of her from the side with her tail straight out.

Trade her. Many place trade if they don't give you the right gender. That's why you always ask about gender guarantees.

Many members on here will trade if they mis-sex the chameleon. Reputable places (site sponsors minus lll) will trade mis-sexed chameleons. It never hurts to Ask whoever you bought it from.

I don't think a pet store or shop will guarantee anything like this.
You are lucky if they have the species correct. Buy from reputable breeders on the forum that will back their sales.Cool people such as myself.

I will look into this more from now on. When my chameleon was tiny it looked really blue and is why I went with the idea that it was a male.
