what is on my Chan’s eye?

I just got home from work and noticed something on my Chams eye that looks like it’s irritating her. She is asleep but her eye is not fully closed and it looks like a black spec right next to her eye. I didn’t notice it before tonight and I am concerned. Can anyone identify this and how I may go about treating her without forcibly handling her or making her uncomfortable? If not what can I do for her?

being a noob too my only thought would be dehydration, have you seen her drinking?
Yes she drinks every single time I mist her enclosure which is approximately 4-5 times a day and then I have a humidifier running at night to maintain the humidity levels

What do you use for a humidifier? I tend not to mist/humidify at night to sustain heat, which could be a reason your chams eye is irritated. But its better for someone more experienced to answer this than me.

Currently using the repti fogger and from what I’ve read and reasearched, her enclosure temps have been right we’re there supposed to be

Are you sure she is sleeping? You see how the front part of her turret is all wrinkled up? I’ve never seen a Cham do that while sleeping. They usually only do that when they are trying to clean out their eyes, plus the eye in the pic is clearly open as you noted.

And if she is sleeping what time of day is it in the pic? I ask because I see you have the blue lights on...

Where is your uvb?

It is 11:12 exactly in this picture and I’m almost 100 percent sure she was asleep, also her uvb was turned off but her night time light has sort of a black light glo

There should be no night lights or any kind of lights in her cage while sleeping. They should sleep in just darkness, pitch black. Not good for them to have a light on or any kind of light during night time

It’s just for heat the light emitted is supposed to be in noticeable to reptiles

Actually they don't need any heat during night/when they're sleeping. It's actually good for them having a 10 degree drop in temps at night, I use no heat lamp or anything at night and my cham is a happy lil healthy fella(y)

Usually just until there’s enough water to actively drip from the plants
The reason I ask is your Cham uses the misting sessions to clean out their eyes. They require a few mins of misting per session to do this. If you are only wetting the leaves you are not misting long enough.

I mist a total of 3 times a day maybe I do 4 times a day sometimes as well. Every misting session ranges from 3-4 minutes each sometimes even 5 minutes. 1 misting session in the morning, the second one a couple hours after first misting, 3rd at 3pm, and lastly the 4th at 5pm for 2 minutes which is 2 hours before lights go out.
