I have these in with my crickets. Has lots of little legs and moves fast. Anyone else have these? Do you know what they are? where they come from? should I be concerned? Can my PC eat them? Maybe it's a carpet beetle?

thanks,
J

Looks like a cleaner bug to me. They are the larva of a beetle similar to mealworms and relatively common to be in with mealworms. Once again I can't tell if it is, but it looks like one to me.

They are Dermestid beetle larvae. They eat all the dead crickets and help keep things clean. I wouldn't feed them to my chams, they will normally turn them down anyways. Fun Fact: Dermestid beetle larvae are used to clean skulls and bones so they can be bleached and articulated/etc.
