What is this bump?

Hey bro before u take him to the vet ask reptiracks if they will pay for the vet because he said they were healthy ,did u try to get your money back? Poseidon and Hades aren't those Texas ranger faly.? Ask. T R he is an honest guy they might be ch not cb .u should pm him. Let us know what happened.also yes his health comes first but u should not forget about the identifiying the locale before too much time goes by.

I apologize for not posting this thread sooner, there was just much more to this story like I stated before. I'll start from the beginning.

My fiance bought this pair for me as a gift, told me and I told her to cancel since I wanted to do more research since they were faly. We called Repti-Racks and emailed the same day that she made payment with no response to cancel. We did the same in the morning, with no response then a got a text message in the evening that they were shipped. Which number one pissed us off since we gave him ample time to cancel the order. So, then when we received the canceled order with the male faly with a bump on his side. We contacted repti racks and he said that he was fine before being shipped and it had nothing to do with him, so on top of ignoring our cancelation he just brushed off the fact that I received a Faly that was not 100%. Even through my further research I contacted TR and as suggested was a super nice guy and helped me out with my questions. Yes Hadies line male was Ch, so then I contacted Repti Racks again since he said they were 100% CB and he again said he could confirm they were CB. He said that if I don't want them sell them myself. So after disputing my charges for not getting what I paid for, as well as him ignoring my canceled order before being shipped the CC company through their research sided with me and then I sent them back to Repti Racks which I had to pay $112 for shipping. So, yes this was hell. Chameleons are my life, I have never dealt with anyone like this in the industry.

Wow, what a sad story! Thanks for making us aware of this seller, although that was not the original intent of the thread.

Also, I forgot to say Repti Racks would not pay for the vet as he said it was caused by shipping.

rotten eggs are the worst......

I'm sorry for your ordeal. it's ridiculous how many dishonest people I've come across in this field. :(

When I do business it's always 100% honesty, 100% for the customer to be satisfied. I guess I have been lucky to do business with great people like the kammers, flchams, etc. that really have the customer as well as the chameleons in mind. To have to send them back was heartbreaking since I grow bonds instantly with any of my animals or reptiles, being shipped again so soon was something I did not want to do. Dealing with repti racks was a bad experience, it was almost like he felt like I was lucky to do business with him and my satisfaction was the last thing he cared about. He even threatened to call my local police dept to file fraud charges against me for charging back my cc payment as well as told me he was getting papers drawn up by his lawyer. I canceled, he shipped, improperly labeled the falys as CB when they were CH, then shipped a cham with a huge bump on his side. I had so much support from the forum members through pm's that I am truly appreciative to be a part of this site.

Damn dude that sucks u and your chick had to go thru that especially when she was trying to surprise u with that purchase. Like Dr . O said rotten Apples .if u went thru fauna you should bring it up there also . Thanks for letting us know about your ordeal. I guess repti racks should care about the customer also. That sucks he didn't reimburse the $115 for shipping them back .that's the least he can do.they are up for sale also again.poor animals.

i hear you. owning my veterinary practice in NY was such a dream, treating people and their animals with respect that i didn't see working as an associate at some other practices. my practice's motto was "Contemporary, Compassionate Care" and my staff and i really lived up to that based on the public's feedback. there's some bad veterinary eggs to be sure, but at least the vast majority seem to swing waaay to the other side and really care about the human-animal bond.

i'll be bringing that ethos into my own chams when i start selling; 10 day health guarantees, lifetime support, discounts for CF senior members and above, discounts for repeat buyers; there's just no other way to do it in my world.

and if Fauna was involved, please leave feedback on the BOI. it's the only place where we can really rate breeders et al, and the bigger it gets, the less likely those rotten apples will succeed.

Well said, you can always tell difference between the people who are in the business because they love the animals and the ones that are in it just for the money. When I have available clutches I will do the same, also with the cham artwork that will be available soon. Discounts to senior members, once I get their of course lol:)

I'm really sorry you had to go through all that. :(. It's terrible when nothing but good and loving intentions get ruined by some jerk.
