Hello!
We have had Pi for 6 weeks. Pi came from a homebreeder and my daughter got Pi for her birthday. Pi was supposed to be a Yemen Chameleon, at least that is what the breeder told and the breeder was in a hurry to get this one out to a good home cause Pi was missing the tip of the tail.
Over the weeks this looks okay again.
So is Pi a girl or a boy?
How old is Pi?
And what kind of chameleon is Pi cause slowly Pi isnt starting to look Yemen at all!
Pi sheds well and quick and i saw more green and blue coming through.
Pi eats crickets, silkmoth larvea and dubias. Some how its scared of little grasshoppers so i took those off the menu.
Pi otherwise does very well and I see progress in eating. I had a yemen caresheet so far.
I have a glass/gauze cage of 45x45x80 with rep tech 26w UVB and a 25w heat bulb. I keep the temps at 35 celcius under the lamp, 28 around it and 24 in the rest of the cage approx.
We are first time owners of a chameleon. Well actually.. my daughter is the real fan here. Tho shes only 7 she is developing a passion.
I would enjoy more info on Pi so i can teach her to take care of Pi properly.
