What kind of light fixtures are you guys using?

I recently changed my light fixture from the exo terra cfl's to the reptisun 5.0 18" tubes with the zilla light fixture. I don't like the zilla because it has a plastic cover, covering the bulb. Where can I get a good light fixture? I've been hearing a lot about Arcadia Lighting but don't know where buy them.

This is the one I got for my Reptisun 5.0 18" tube and it works great. This one has no plastic cover or anything that needs to be removed. Just put the light in and you are good to go.

you also need a basking bulb i say go get a 75 watt regular bulb

You are actually supposed to take the plastic off. I heard it blocks the UVB from getting through

You only need one UVB light per cage. 2 UVB's is most likely too much UVB. Also ditch the heat lamp for a regular house bulb. Chams are attracted to the light the regular bulb will give off therefore being able to correctly bask unlike the heat lamp.

You can get Arcadia from lightyourreptiles and they are great. I used to have 2 of the zillas flo. Lights, one with reptiglo 5 I just removed the plastic.

yikes! that's expensive. i'd search online for your cham stuff. there are deals all the time and the sponsors on here have good prices.

I just got Camilles new UVB lamp and T5 fixture today and am completely satisfied and haven't had it in for 30 mins! The cage is so much brighter the plants pop along with Camille which is soaking it up starting to show some gold and blue!(think she wants a mate) but everything is much brighter me and her love it and the shipping and service was great from lightyourreptiles I recommend this fixture for anyone with reptiles!
