Hey everyone!

I finally picked up a pair of pygmies at a reptile show yesterday. The guy sold them to me as a pair of bearded pygmies, and I know that the male is, but the female kind of looks like a cross between a bearded pygmy and a spectral pygmy. Can you guys tell me what you think she is??

The photos are a little blurry but I’d hazard a guess that is a Rhampholeon temporalis because of the diagonal stripes and broad, flat lips. It appears to be a female but because the tail base is somewhat hidden I can’t definitively say for sure. The temporalis require different temperatures than the brevicaudatus so should be kept separately. In a lot of instances the females come in gravid so be prepared for that.

Agreed, the photo is blurry but the shape of the head and the way the nose comes to a point makes it look like you have a Rhampholeon temporalis.

No, it was Repticon in Atlanta. It's not that I don't want her.. I was just really wanting them to have babies :(
