What kind of water do you guys use?

A tip....this subject comes up all the time...a quick search of the forum would give you all the info about water, what sources work best, what sources might need treatment, what treatments to use, etc. Using forum searches gets you answers quickly too.

I use tapwater.
But you should check the waterquality in your area, not every country/state/supplyer has the same quality tapwater and hard water will also ruin your equipment a lot sooner due to the high level of calcium.

I use tap water but at least every 2 weeks I take all the nozzles off and soak them in viniger for a few hours because tap water usually has a lot of minerals in them which build up and can ruin the nozzles or you can purchase new ones when they gobad. Or get a ro unit or in some places you can go fill up big 5 gallon containers with ro or distilled water for pretty cheap. Usually walmart or big stores have them. I don't have one near me or this would be what I would use.

Ro and distilled water have no to very little mineral content and people don't want toruin the system is why people use these kinds. I purchased a ro unit but I'm not a big fan of wasting twice the amount of water you make and with no water fill up thing near me is why I use tap water

Yeah depends on your areas water quality anything distilled or RO is going to give you no problems but tap water will require maintenance.

Wasting a few gallons a month is pretty insignificant....especially if you are a person who showers or goes to the bathroom, which wastes much more water. The wastewater thing is a politically correct, activist sensationalist thing....is like me saying "Don't boil water! The steam is wasted water!"

The way I look at it is this , if you don't drink your tap water ,why would you give it to your Chameleon. So I use the same water as my stand up water cooler.
18lt. Jugs . The Ph is about 6.0.to 7.0.*Neutral.
