What kind of water does everyone give their Chameleons spring or tap ?

I use the RO water for my aquazamp. Supposedly it keeps from clogging up the misters...

It helps prevent clogging by about 95%. If you have hard water, I would suggest a whole house water conditioning system in conjunction with the RO. Very hard water will still clog, even with the RO, just not as quickly.

Just bought an RO system. In parallel my nozzles are completely clogged up and are now clearing up in a vinegar solution. Hopefully things improve with the RO.
So far we filtered water and boiled it for both drinking and misting.

I work in a lab so I just bring my water jugs from home to fill with distilled water for my humidifiers and Mistking.
Anything else I use tap water

Apple cider vinegar will un clog the nozzels. Just soak them over night. Apple cider vinegar even removes the toughest coraline algae from my circulation pumps in my reef aquariums.

I buy spring water by the gallon for my chams, the dart frogs get distilled water. Beardies take their baths in tap (well) water, and are no worse for the wear. We had an R/O until it broke and flooded my house, ruining every single floor on New Year's Eve a few years ago. No more R/O after that :D

I notice some say they use distilled in the misters and let the cham drink distilled . I know it's good for a fogger but I thought drinking distilled was NO NO ????

Why would distilled be bad? I've always heard good things about distilled water and reptiles. There's just no minerals or dissolved solids and absolutely no chlorine in distilled

The dont drink distilled water myth was by some crack pot who thought that demineralized water would suck the minerals from your blood. Its been busted many times over. In new research its found that DI water does leach minerals that your blood cant absorb, so its kinda beneficial for flushing your system. The other myth was its unhealthy because it has no minerals, but i believe the chart says you need to drink 400 gallons of water to get the same minerals as 1 cheerio.

Just upgraded myself to an RO system so use RO water now.

Also, someone said it is better to stop the nozzles 'clogging' and I would agree. The noise made by the nozzles with RO water is much less (sounds stupid, but I can just hear the difference) which I can only presume is because it has less stuff in it!

I would like to thank you all for the advice i just may stick with distilled water poland spring delivers that stuff in 5 gallon jugs with a sort of keg pump thing for them so again thank you all for the advice
