what new reptile should i get???

Well my birthdays coming up and my mom asked me what i wanted and iv'e been thinking but what do you guys think i should get? the sucky thing is i cant have no snakes, scorpians, rats, or spiders my mom is FREAKED out by all those


i do want to get a bearded dragon but honestly they seem like way to MUCH work because i have 2 veileds and a chinese water dragon but i want a frog because i just love vivariums especially the ones with the ponds that have little fish in there!!!!i wish i could make one but i dont know how and i dont know where to start but throw some crazy ideas at me!!!!!

i love cresties, but i guess theyre not your thing id love to have dart frogs though, very easy to care for and so colorful! but they are not handleable..and i like to play with my pets

Have you looked at waxy monkey frogs?

One of the coolest frogs I have kept are their care is more similar ot a reptile as they prefer hot temps and get this low humidity

If you love a well set up vivarium , purchase some axolotls! look em up and fall in love. Get a male and female, and then do half the tank water, and you can have other species on the land half. Great compromise! You will absolutely love them!

Hey when I was your age I had like one of every species. Never really accomplished anything though. Now I think what is even better is to stick to one species and try to BREED them.

Red-tail boa, any sub-type. Most personality of any type of snake I have ever kept! And they are beautiful!

i like the small pond idea but remember small fish tanks get dirty almost over night so id find a way to make it as big as possible and to fit a good filter in it if thats the way you were gonna go

+1 and breed them for many generations.

I've bred lots of species but ended up selling off all the babies and sometimes the breeders too over the years. I think that was a huge weakness of mine. The past several years my interest has shifted to focusing on far fewer species over many generations.
