What purchases are most valuable to you?

Since the creation of this thread I've given this some thought and honestly I'm stumped. I tend to put equal value on everything I purchase. I look at everything I own as something I couldn't do without or at the very least something I wouldn't want to do without. There is a reason I bought it in the first place. I tend to not get attached to much so the things I no longer put that kind of value on don't tend to be around after their value is gone.

Pretty close to my thinking too, excepting that when you have kids, you do attach emotional/sentiment value to things they give you, even after that point. I have a big collection of herp books I can never toss out because they fathers day gifts. :)

Yeah Dan I definitely am with you on that one. I have an adopted son that I no longer see any more as he lives with the ex in another city. I do still have his fathers day gifts he gave me. But in the same breath, they are turtle figurines, and well I happen to collect hand carved turtles so they fit into the collection very well.

I would have to think about it if they were some stupid animal, but as you n I know.Turtles and torts are just awesome.

Just kidding mate. I would keep it no matter what it was. I'm not that much of an insensitive SOB. Close but no cigar. LOL :)
