what should my set-up include

Haha... Mista... I jsut realized what your avatar was... pretty funny...I was wondering what the hell Dank was talking about...

Read up on Brad's site... really has a lot of good info. Making sure the live plants (Ficus, Hibiscus, Schefflera) get a good misting a few times a day makes sure the humidity stays up...

It is kind of a funny situation... You need humidity so you'd think a screen would not work, But you need screen to make sure there is airflow at the same time, but at that point you need to make sure there is not too much air flow... You want to keep the humidity from getting to low and harming your Cham... but then at the same time if it gets too high you also risk harming your cham. Looking at it like this helps people understand why chams are not the Herp for begginers. They ARE touchy. ;) The more research you do the more equipped you will be to care for your animal. Luckily over the years all the trial and error has been handled for us... Just look into what others have learned... and Research Research Research, asking questions here is great... But the more research you do prior to us, the easier it will be for you understand what we will tell you.

yea seriously, thank you guys. im really glad i came here before doing this. iv wanted a cham since i was a little kid, but i knew even then that it wast a good idea for me because i wouldt b able to provide proper care, but i feel now im way old enough to care for one and i have the money and time too.

Well You are definately doing the right stuff so far by asking Q's... Carefull ... I will warn you... These animals are ADDICTING!!!! I am sure you will be a great keeper.

*clears throat* Hey everyone...My name is Joe... annnd I am a Chamohlic...

For the summer your guy can be outside in a cage. They thrive with that kind of fresh air and sun. Mine are outisde as soon as the temps are high enough and i have a toro misting system set to go on a timer from the outside tap. It keeps humidity up andgives them plenty of water without using drippers. When its really hot they get a 30 minute shower every 4 hours.
