What size crickets?

Not trying to make things difficult for you but to be honest the Fluker's gut load you have is one of the worst quality gut loads you could use. There is a reason it's so cheap. Sure the crickets might do quite well on it but it's not doing much good for your cham. There are quite a few high quality gut loads including Repashy Superload (fine powder usually given dry) and the Bug Burger. Some members here also sell good ones. I don't have a full list of leafy greens and veggies handy but if you do some searching here you will find endless information on that. Start by searching for "gut load lists" or something like that. Also most people don't care for the pre made water cubes. If anything get the crystals and make your own water gel. Repashy also sells a substitute for this. Also you can offer other things like orange, unsweetened applesauce, baby foods, etc. for a water source. I don't use every one of these myself but many here do. You'll find much more info by researching this site and looking at past threads. When you're using the Bug Burger you don't need additional water. Anyways just a few more thoughts for you.
I'm just using variety veggies and bug burger for gutloading. The flukers and water gels I just got to keep the crickets alive till I gutload them to feed to my chameleon. I just wasn't sure how to keep the crickets alive because I ordered 1000 and my cham won't be eating 1000 within 3 days

Sounds like you're on the right track!! Once again wasn't trying to criticize or anything. Just offering some more information. I've had chams for 15 years and still learning every day. You could have them all your life and still learn every day!!! Best of luck with everything.

How to keep a ton of crickets with no smell and no air issues :)

This Video

I hate crickets, and I hate their smell. I'd rather use dubias, but being in the same boat and having a teen, I can't feed him full sized dubias yet. This seems like a workable setup for 1000 crickets

That is a lot of work lol my crickets haven't stank yet

georgiacrickets.com I think they're part of a franchise, so wherever you are, there's one of that group near you. They tell you the exact size when you order. They also have special built tubs and send you calcium, cricket deodorizer, food (not gut-load), and cricket water with the tub when you order. The tubs have sanded sides to maximize the space so they don't cannibalize. If you're like, "hey, I'll switch to roaches" or "hey, I think I'll try a strange new worm or something." They have it. They also have feeder packages for variety.

Size: Personally, I ordered large 3 times in a row and probably half of them died, no matter how many I ordered. They just don't live long enough. I order medium crickets and feed him more.
PetCo had me paying more to feed 1 veiled chameleon than my 2 dogs and 2 guinea pigs combined. I know it makes me a jerk, but when I see people in PetCo buying crickets, I tell them about his place as soon as the employee walks away.

Now we just need to wait till OP figures out they used vinyl screen instead of metal, and the little buggers will eat right through it :)

I was told to double up on the screen I used aluminum , I've had 1000 for about a week and a half and haven't had any issues

Here is a update on my cricket cage (the tape isn't to seal, it's so I don't rip my hand open on the screen edges) It has been thriving for the last two weeks. First timer so far no issues! How do you guys clean the cages? Do you also buy new flats?
