What species of chameleon can be kept in this?

For a beginner, I would only put pygmies in there (either R. brevicautatus or R. temporalis.) It could also work as a baby cage for larger beginner species, but you will eventually need to get a bigger cage for a bigger species.

Only a carpet, and even then that's a little small for my taste but doable. Those other species get much larger and really shouldn't be kept in anything but a 2' x 4' cage anyway, in my opinion.

Ill have to agree with everyone.. to me personally pygmys are the only ones. Thats what I wanna do with my unused exo terra. But even then only 1 to 2 max.
Golden rule of thumb is "the more space the better. I even feel like '2×'2×'4 getting a lil tight for my veiled. Id be pretty depressed if I couldnt get to a plant across the room haha

I read that these four species could be kept in one:
Fischers, carpet, and Jacksons, and Cameroon Two-Horned

Really? Where did you read that? Sounds like wishful thinking for all but the smallest fischeri subspecies or female carpet.

Possibly a merumontanus could fit in there. I'm not sure but I believe they are smaller than carpets.
