Hi ive had my cham 2/3 months now and I read on the Internet about supplementing but then ive seen on forums other Internet sites they say completely different, this is what ive been doing:

Gut-loading all the crickets/locusts

Dusting them everyday with Calcium without D3.

Dusting them with half Calcium without D3 and half Calcium With D3 every 2 weeks.

Dusting them with half vitamin supplements & half calcium without D3 once every 2 weeks.

Now im worried its completely wrong, please help i dont want my Fred getting ill :(

I am not sure about a yemen, but your regiment sounds similar to the one people on this site recommend for panthers/veilds.

Calcium w/o D3 everyday (I take off one day here or there)
Calcium w/ D3 every two weeks
Multivitimin every two weeks (I use herpevite)

I am sure people will weigh in shortly and let you know if it is the same for your cham.

.

Hello they are the 'Exo-terra' range & that was another thing I forgot to mention when I do the multivitamin & calcium with D3 dustings are they meant to be mixed with calcium without D3?

Hi
You've heard a bunch of different methods because there is no one set "rule" for how to do it. It depends on MANY factors, such as:
what brand of supplements?
what do you gutload with?
what feeder prey do you offer? (crickets and locust need calcium dust, but many types of feeders do not)
does the cham go outside in natural light or not? and what UVB lighting do you use, if any?

Roughly, for the ExoTerra brand of calicum with D, you might use that 3-4 times a month. So essentially what you are doing should be fine. Assuming it is indoors under 5.0 UVB tubes.
You dont need to mix the vitamins with calcium. I believe the exoterra vitamin supplement also contains vitaminD, so use that on different times than the calicum with D3 powder.
