What system for me?

Time has come to get a automatic misting system and I have a question you have all heard before. Aquazamp or Mistking? I have an 18x18x36 repti breeze but I have been having major trouble keeping the humidity range where it needs to be. It seems I have 0% humidity where I live and I have to mist about once every 2 hrs for 5 mins each session. Would a raindome help more with this or just use mist nozzle?
Thanks in advance

The Mistking is going to start at a lower cost for the basic package. I found that Aquazamp costs around 40 dollars more... But now that you go into comparing, they are honestly almost identical in product comparison. They both are exceptionally good misting systems it just is a matter of preference I would say. I myself am getting a mistking next month so hopefully will be able to update you and let you know. Raindome I am not really sure would help more than the misting from the nozzles. I honestly don't understand for the most part how a raindome works besides it just dripping a consistent rainfall like sequence. It seems to me to be more of a dripper than anything. A really good dripper lol but that is just from my observations. Let others who have there systems set up tell you. That is just my opinion on it.

i finally found a mist system at a local pet shop - it was the exo terra monsoon ...but the price was lol - 250 Euros .... i mean wtf..... i so hate my country and europe ...

i hope i find a way to get a mistking system soon ...

I have a rain dome, and love it. I would definitely suggest one.

As for misting systems, the only major difference between between Aquazamp and Mist king is the pump. Mistking pump is a Chinese made version of the pump supplied by Aquazamp (made in the USA). Thats why the price difference. My pump(pro mist) is the same model as the aquazamp. I've had my pump for 10+ years, and it's never even missed a cycle. That's almost 20,000 cycles (some of them even dry) without a single problem......it's bulletproof. I don't have any first hand experience with the Mistking pump, so you should search the forums for threads/reviews to see how they perform.

If I needed to buy a pump now, I wouldn't even think twice about spending the extra for the same model I have now.

Mistking owner here I'm actually running to of them now, one on my adults(16 nozzles connected to the advance pump, and another on my baby rack(4,soon to be 8, nozzles connected to the basic pump) Both pumps are connected to a 30 gallon reservoir. So far it's ran flawlessly.

Just got my aquazamp a couple of days ago and it is the best! I cant say anything bad about mistking(except it was not made in the usa.) Also kevin from aquazamp is a really nice guy. Btw, kevin if you are reading this thank you for the amazing system!:D

Is it possible to run aquazamp raindome and a mist nozzle off same pump simultaneously?

I do this. I run a raindome on my panther and a misting nozzle on my veiled. The raindome is actually a misting nozzle in an enclosure to make rain. Both run from one pump no problem!

Although I've only had my MistKing for 2 months, it has performed flawlessly and once, ran dry for a couple of cycles.

I only hope the digital timer holds out, as it is inexpensive, compared to the pump itself.

I have my water contained in a rubbermaid 3-gallon container, out of sight, and I don't have to refill it for ~ 2 weeks.

I am already considering building 2 more enclosures for inside, and the MistKing will have no problem supplying the water for these.

I use the Habba system for my outside enclosure. It's relatively inexpensive and "portable", but it also runs on batteries if we ever loose power here in Florida. This is my back-up system. It's loud, and doesn't hold a lot of water, but it sure beats hand-misting!

The MistKing Starter Kit ($100) is my choice!
