What to do on the First Day Home?

Hello all:

My first cams are coming Saturday, and I'm wondering what I should be prepared for the first day. With other pets I have, it has been recommended to me to place the animal in it's enclosure and leave it alone for a day. This seems logical. I certainly wouldn't expect to handle them a lot, but I do have a free range set up, and I wondered if they would enjoy the space.

Finally, should I feed right away or should I let them go their first day without food?

Thank you all for your time!

Welcome to the forums. What kind of chameleons did you purchase? I have a blog attached below for new keeper of panthers and veileds. I free range 24/7 so my new guys go right to the FR but I have it set up where they can not escape. It's best to let them settle in for a few days where ever you decide to keep them. I mist right out of the box. They are normally thirsty after being shipped. Then shortly after misting I offer food.
