What are the top 3 smallest chameleons that I could keep? I know a very small one is a pygmy chameleon but what is the next smallest chameleon up?

There are lots of different types of pygmy. also the smaller the chameleon the shorter the lifespan is. Carpet chameleons are always cool.

yes they are they are about 300-500 each usually and they only get like 3 inches long i have seen alot of those lately.

jewelled chameleons are hard to keep in captivity, and also only come wild caught so far.

there's species of chameleon that will only grow like 2inch big... I seen them at the expo, the guy wanted 120€ for one...
Forgot the name..

Is that the smallest pygmy in the world? The babies can like fit on the end of a matchstick?

A carpet or Mount Meru Jackson's chameleon, which both attain a total length of about 6 inches, is probably the best choice for you.

These are two of my favorite small species I work with.

I don't know, I have never kept them. The two above are full grown. And they are probably about the size of a smaller Jackson species. I would about 5 inches. You can likely find a lot of the info you are looking for now that you have specific names of some chameleons on Google. I am not sure how well established Sternfeldi are in the captive breeding trade. I have heard of them mostly when they are imported. So unless you want to deal with a wild caught and acclimating one you may want to wait for someone who is more knowledgeable with species to respond. Like @jpowell86

Ok thank you so much, there is not much about The.Sternfeld on Google but I will keep looking, i wouldn't want one caught from the wild either.
