I saw this picture on a website and was curious to know what type of chameleon this was.

Thanks!

No it's not furcifer, it's what rshewfel said. Also called the rosette nosed pygmy chameleon. Not very common in the pet trade.

Like never seen in the pet trade...I don't think I've ever seen one offered. Wonderful little things to see in person!

This is one of my photographs from one of my sites (top left of every page on the Chameleons! Online E-Zine: http://www.chameleonnews.com). As indicated previously, it is a Rhampholeon spinosus (Usambara Rosette-nosed Pygmy Chameleon).

Please keep in mind, however, that rather than infringing the copyright of the owner of the photograph by copying the image and post it to another site, you can post a link to the original website where the photo was posted (either to the main page itself or the specific URL of the photo - in this case: http://www.chameleonnews.com/Home_files/E-Zine Logo.png). Many photographers, including myself, absolutely despise when people take their photos and host them somewhere other than where they had posted them, as it removes all credit to the photographer and eliminates their ability to control the use of that image. This is particularly true when the photograph is edited to remove credit (as was the case in this photograph when the text to the website it was removed from was cropped off). Further, it also violates the TOS of Chameleonforums. If this image is on your puush account, please remove it, otherwise I will have to have it removed by the host.
