Spider plants and wandering jew plants are also easy keepers if they get light. Whatever plants you get repot the top two inches with organic soil and cover the dirt to keep your cham for accidentally eating it. I use window screen topped with river rocks far too large to swallow. If your plants are under the dripper or mister nozzle some people put sand and aquarium gravel in the bottom inch of the pot for good drainage.

Pothos all the way I got mine in a pot with a thick stick down the centre so not a hanging pot I've had it over a year it is great magoo loves the vines I never water it my mister does all the work here's a pic

True they are common plants but some are incredibly easy some are more difficult, it’s up to the operator to research and see what these plants like.
This is an old thread but I think the main thing people should note about plants for inside a chameleons cage (having a plant outside the cage is different.) is having plants that are okay with high humidity and lots of water. If you put a cottonwood sapling in a chameleon habitat, it’s going to die. It’s from Western North America where it’s very dry. But if you put a Pothos or a Tree Philo in the cage then it’ll do great. I’ve got a magnolia for my room, that’ll sit outside the cage and be an enrichment thing for him to climb all over. Magnolias don’t like tons of water, they like drier soils but this is okay since it’s outside of the enclosure.
