Congrats. What a doll baby. Good thing you were checking your bins regularly. Some people don't and get a less than joyous surprise when babies hatch out early.

I always check my egg bins, but this time I was totally surprised because they were not to hatch for another moth or so, I thought. Just finished making four ff cultures and now am running low on the ones I got. I do have two bean beetle cultures that should come handy when I run out of ff. One more chameleon popped out and most all other eggs are sweating or popping out...all twenty three of them...

Hmmm...don't know why that is...I have four out now and leaving tomorrow for camping and my brother is out of town and hoping they will make it ok being in the tupperware until I get back next week...ugh!

Congratulations! Is there anyone in your area that is worthy of taking care of the babies until you return? Possibly board them with another keeper?

I hate to say it, but I think if you are leaving 23 babies completely unattended for a week, what you will return home to will be 23 dead babies. I think it is safe to say that since your average baby might go anywhere from 2-4 days without eating once they have hatched, and you will be gone for the week, you have a big shortfall. Even more importantly, if you plan on leaving them in their incubation tub for the entire week, where will they go for water? I would highly recommend you finding someone who can watch over your remaining eggs and babies while you are gone, either that or cancel the camping trip? Good luck, I hope you find a suitable solution for your dilemma!!
