So today I was walking through Walmart and I saw those pop up mesh hampers I thought to myself these are basically the same thing as a chameleon cage. so I bought a couple and set them up since I have 2 babies arriving tomorrow, what do y'all think of them?

You couldn't really put a light on them, you'd have to hang it, and does it have a door for easy access or do you have to like pick the whole thing up?

7$ for the hamper then I bought a piece of mesh and a wire coat hanger and made the top for 4$ so easy some have a zipper top but wal mart didn't have those ones

That's really practical for babies. As long as the mesh lid doesn't get too hot from the light I think its a great idea!

Yeah that's my only worry and adult it can work to there's some that are wider and you can cut the bottom off one the zip tie them together and have a 5-6 ft tall cage
