whats better for my cham fogger, or automister?

whats better for my cham? My next purchase for him will be a fogger, I wanted to know if i should get the timed mister first.

I like the auto mister.... but each of us have reasons mine is I have seen the foggers cause rot (mouth rot, feet rot), this was not against the foggers though it was human error in their use.

Which will work better for you really depends on your local situation and daily routine. If you are away from home a lot for long hours, the auto mister will provide drinking water more regularly. But, if your area is very dry and you'd have to run the auto mister many times a day to maintain cage humidity it can also drown plants, damage whatever you set the cage on, etc. This is when a fogger can help. It won't create as much water volume as the mister, but will raise the humidity level between misting cycles.

If you are home much of the time and don't mind hand spraying, then the auto mister may not be worth it.
