Mine was just over 4 months when he started showing color. Of course after each shed, he'll start to show more and more.
hes only shed once, the day i got him. i have a flapneck and he only sheds once or twice a year, how often to baby panthers shed? hes flared up once and he had all kinds of colors and he changes a little here but always the colors i posted the baby greay and black colors
Panthers she about 1 every 3-4 weeks when growing up until about a year or so. Not too familiar with flapnecks, so can't help there unfortunately.
Upon having a look, he seems to be taking after his uncle (Hulk). He didn't color up until 6 months. He stayed green and white, and then POP! Good news is, Hulk turned out to be one of the brighter colored chams of his relatives. 'Patience is a virtue.' (I am full of one liners today. ) He'll get there. (Go to my albums and have a look at Hulk's baby pic. You'll see what I mean)
My little guy's between 3 and 4 months, I've had him for a month now and he had his first shed since I bought him a few days ago. I was told by the vendor that he might be a bit of a late bloomer as others from the same clutch were already showing a little colour, so I'm just waiting patiently and enjoying having him and not worrying about his colours, he's healthy, is well cared and eats well, and that's what's important. He's showing black, white, varying degrees of brown and even orange so far.
