When do male panther chameleons usually show coloer?

They will begin to show color at 6 months and even more color will begin to show as they mature from this age forward. They really don't reach their full potential until they get around the 14-18 month range IMO.

However, they can color up at different rates. I have had some that colored up much sooner than this, but it was out of the norm.

When do male panther chameleon usually show color and can there be late bloomers?
I've found that most males will start to develop and show some colors as early as 2-3 months. Typically at 3-4 months most will have some color which will continue to develop as they get older. There are always be late bloomers that can take 6-8 to even 10 months to really show some color but the vast majority will have it at a much younger age.

Agree with Nick. 8-12 weeks you should notice a lot of color in males. Most times my 4-6 week olds are already showing blues/yellows. When they start to show big time colors is 5+ months and of course their colors aren't really locked in until almost 24 months.

I attached a picture of one of my 8 week olds (older now). All the males from that clutch were showing pretty bright colors by 6 weeks.
