when do they start laying?

so when do they start laing? when do you put a female on a maintaince diet? my veiled is about 6 months old.

They start at 6 months so you need to get a laying bin down ASAP. And you can start the diet as well. She could start laying any day now

how do I know when she is getting ready to lay? she was at the bottom of her cage twice today, not for long either time. she just finished shedding. and how much do i feed her per day when she is on her diet? is the bin i have ok? it is about three to four inches deep, and a foot long, six inches wide.
