When is best time to seperate babies?

I have some 3 month old chams and when is the best age to start serperating them?? They seem ok until they see each other and then they get alittle dark and puff up. How long do you find they can stand each other???

IMO i say now cuz they are starting to get territorial

Actually, the best time to separate them would be at birth in the first week.

Exactly Will.
They are "territorial" from the moment they get out of that egg!
Many breeders keep really young ones together to save time and space but they really should be seperated way before they reach three months. At this point there will be definite bullying and heavy competition for food. Two things these babies don't need when they're trying to grow up.
Just my opinion.
