When to start varying diet

I'm wondering when to start varying soze's diet. He's just turned 3 months. I know normally you want to make sure what your offering is not wider than the space between the eyes; how does this apply to worms as they are sort of oddly shaped. I want to be sure not to offer anything he could choke on, but from what I've read, it seems he could benefit greatly from a more diverse diet. I've just switched him from pinheads to medium size crickets. I want to give him some time to adjust first as this will be a staple of his diet, just wondering when to start mixing it up :)

Ideally they should be getting the most varied diet possible straight out of the egg. If you can provide a variety of appropriately sized feeders like house flies, bb flies, small supers, small silks, small horns, dubia nymphs, isopods etc in addition to the most common feeders like crickets you are more likely to never see a hunger strike.

Dubia roaches are great staple and so are silk worms :) I have a little guy also just turned 3 months can I see a picture of yourse :) I am currently feeding him gutloaded 3/8" crickets about 2 a day what about you I also have a 5 month old who eats about 10-12 a day 1/2" he's a little obese boy lol but they seem o be doig really well I have Dubia roaches but I'm waiting till thy grow a bit since they are babies and I don't want to loose them in the cage :x

I've attached what I happen to have on my work pc from a few weeks ago. I've actually been having trouble getting him to eat what he should. He's only been eating 2-3 medium sized crickets, but I'm not sure he's really liked the cup feeders I've been trying. Starting a few days ago I've started throwing on the same black p coat when feeding him and letting him sleep with the cage door open so that when he wakes up the cage door is open and he can see me running about getting ready for work and not fixating on him :). He seems to be relaxing a good deal. Starting today I took a large deli cup and cut it in half (top to bottom). I hot glued some replacement screen along the disected plane and affixed the flat, now screened side of the cup to the screen wall of his cage. This way the crickets can crawl right up out of the cup and up to his basking spot and not take the drainage route falling into the water collection underneath his cage.

Off topic a bit, but I just got a really cool 5 ft artificail ficus that I've started running an exo terra jungle vine from to his cage whenever I'm in the room. He hasn't gone for it yet, but I'm really excited to see him become comfortable enough to take the plunge in to the bigger world! After he's done it a handful of times I'm going to try and let him use my hand as a bridge to his new little free range area. I'm hoping he will associate my hand with catching rays by the window in his new ficus!

Anywhoo, where can I order very small horn worms online? I want to use these to try to first handfeed as they are sort of a "treat" feeder. I think incorporating my hand with his most positive experiences will really help to build some trust!
