Which led to my discovery of the Arcadia Jungle Dawn, and all their exciting products. So now we have an Arcadia UVB kit, a Jungle Dawn and an all new supplement supply on the way.

The Mist King will be here monday and I need to build a drainage system before then.

looking good. hmmmm I dunno I have done so much... I was super excited when I got my Dragon strand cage. But I think the best upgrade I did that gave me the most peace of mind was buying my Herpstat thermostat for my basking lamp. Took the stress and guess work out of "is it too hot or is it too cold"

I love the dragons! Gonna eventually upgrade to a wider cage and was going to go with them. And herpstat is new to me. Just looked them up, seems pretty interesting, and would help immensely, temp and humidity is all over the place here so hard to maintain sometimes, I like that idea alot!

So I would not use it to control humidity... Because it will trigger the mister to come on too often. But for heat it is amazing. I have the Medium tall atrium and I love it. 30 inches wide instead of the standard 24.

There are other things you can do for humidity though. What are your levels like right now?

Ever since we added more plants humidity has been pretty good. Morning mist sets it to about 75-80 and drops to about 50 over the next 6 hours or so until next misting. When it was just the hibiscus and pothos I was dropping to 30 in just a few hours.

Then your humidity levels now are good for your panther.

Just curious what kind of herpestat you have. Thinking of adding one but want a decent one.

I bought the herpstat 2 because you can run 2 enclosures off it since it has two separate probes and settings for each. I love it though.

I have the ProT5 and the Jungle Dawn as well. I got drip easy drainage tray from Dragon Strand. Much easier than trying to rig up something together.

What is over your large plant? I was using rocks for my smaller ones but for my larger one its hard to have that many covering it.
