where can i get dandelion?

Hey guys and gals,
My local supplier has stop selling dandelions for good.
Although my backyard has lots of them, I cannot use it due to heavy pesticides used in our community.
Where do you guys get yours commercially?

Do you have a all natural "organic" stores near by?
You maybe able to find it there.

You can buy Dandelion seeds in small or bulk amounts online. Being a "weed" type plant (though what defines a weed is beyond me) means that it is fairly hardy and grows in a variety of locations. You shouldnt have too much issue growing them up yourself.

There are plenty of websites that sell them, even some garden stores carry them. At least one of the dandelion species (one with pointed leaves) is commonly connsidered edible for humanse and are used in food recipes. Call around to a few stores locally and then if not try and find an online retailer in yoru state for cheaper shipping.

My super market carries it once in awhile I guess when its in season.

Come to my house and pick them yourself.......I don't use pesticide.

Can you use clover too? Oh and when you're finished can you trim the grass to an even 2" with scissors?.....don't worry there will only be about ten or twelve blades left.

Well you could always grow them yourself I guess? Dandilions are the hardiest weeds I know so I doubt if it would kill them where ever or however you grew them. They are not houseplants but a tub of dandilions on the kitchen windowsil wouldnt look so bad!

Check Whole Foods or a similar "natural" style market. They usually have them. Albertson's has them sporadically, too.

Of course, if you do have to get into hydroponics, I happen to know someone who can get you a really good deal.
