Where in the world do you all keep the massive amounts of pets!?

I have my female veiled and my pair of pygmy chameleons in my bedroom. Oh and my 41 veield eggs and 1 pygmy egg stays in the closet which is also in my room:p

We have a loft that we use to keep all of our herps, except the Fire Belly toads those are in our room. In the loft is our Chams, leopard gecko, tarantula, variable kingsnake, fire salamander, and assorted bugs for food.

In our loft we have a Shower and toilet that are behind a door with the sink outside the door. This is where we keep our quarantines so we can wash in and wash out.

Yay for barely having room :)

Gpmo (hm)

reshaped my bookcase to make a make-shift rack for my Sand Boas (Eryx) and im perfectly fine with half my room being a table with my chameleon and all of his care items, and my backyard dedicated to my tortoises :D

Right now I have:

2 turtles in a tank in my spare living room/kitchen (painted turtle and peninsula cooter)
2 free ranging kitties (Birman/Siamese mix & Maine Coone)
1 Veiled in my living room/hall
1 Panther Cham in my husbands office (LOL)
10 African Cichlids in the living room.

Once I get my spare bedroom/photography studio back, I'll have PLENTY of room for more (muahahah)

I have the beardies separated for now because I don't want her to breed just yet & I don't fully trust the boy's genetics. I've spent the last 3 weeks getting her calcium, iron, & vitamins to optimal levels prior to breeding as she averages 50+ eggs per clutch with 2 clutches per breeding encounter the vet says this is very important. Next week I'll be borrowing a boy that has great genetics to breed her with.

All of the snakes are in separate tanks except the 8 babies which are in 2 tanks of 4 separated by size until they get bigger. I could probably put some of the other snakes together but I don't want them breeding for another year as I'd rather them be larger then is suggested to keep them healthier and their young will in turn be healthier.

I hope you don't do that to that poor female every season, that will cause her an early grave. 50 Eggs is a pretty big clutch for a beardie, so hopefully you won't be doing this every season.

Anyways- I have all of my pets in one room.I used to have them in three rooms at one point, but have been selling some of my collection to make room for new stuff later on.

You basically give them your house and you live in whats left. LOL, in my bedroom a have a chameleon, crested gecko, Chile rose, hamster and guinea pig. :D Its awesome, my chameleon has my laptop stand for her viv to go on, my guinea pig is on top of the drawers, my hamster is on top of my other drawers, my spider is on top of my bed side drawers and my gecko is on top of the table i had for my t.v. So yip i've lost my bedroom. :p But as the weather is warmer now i'm buying a hutch for my guinea pig to go outside and i will be moving soon so will have a spare room for my reptiles. I'll have a bedroom again, lol.

We keep ours in out dining room and eat elsewhere... for now. Recentally moved and have plans to make an addition on the house to house the chams.

This pic is only one side of the room.. I assure you the other side is just as filled

Your room is my kinda heaven with all them reptiles. AWESOME

I have pets instead of children. The pets get the two bedrooms of the house, plus there are birds in the kitchen. My partner and I sleep in the basement.
....I was laughing so hard when i read this. I thought you said "my panther and i sleep in the basement". By the way my vieled cham free ranges in the living room above a 130gal indoor pond with tropical fish and plants, also in the room is my grandsons baby beaded dragon and a 150gal fw tank. In my bedroom is the 240gal saltwater tank [8'x2'x2']. The dog [Jackson] free ranges except when bothering guests [he's a serial licker].

Up until now they've always been spread out against any available wall. But now I'm moving into an apartment that has a den, so I will be able to keep them all in a single room. It also has two screened in balconies, so I am turning one into my chameleon outdoor free-range :D I'm very excited about this move.

Computer room

I have a loft that I use as my office also for my chams. One thing with keeping chams in close quarters is definitely quarantine. I had my chams in a room at my old house if one got sick they all get sick! But yeah good luck everyone interesting arrangements.

I have downsized my collection, as I am moving from panthers & veileds to montanes.

I have 2 panthers, 1 veiled & superciliaris in one bedroom.
6 beardies in another bedroom
4 jacksons, 2 quads & 9 baby quads in another bedroom,

All 3 of those rooms are off limits to my other 3 pets,
2 schipperkes (dogs) & one husband all 3 free range

I also have a couple or three more chameleons on order.:D

You MAKE room. :D Even if you have to shove other items into the garage or, in my case, put some babies or other things in your daughter's room ... :D:D (lucky for me she is an animal freak like her mother :D)....

lol exactly!

We have a two bedroom apt. and the chams had the smaller room and part of the living room. my GF one day is like 'lets move them ALL into the master bedroom and we can have the living room back....'

In the master bedroom we have a 'wall' of four 2x2x4 cages.... then a rack for two 2x2x1.5 cages and then a large ass free range in the room as well. the free range is L shaped... the long side of the "L" is 9 feet long and 3 feet deep and the short part.. or the boot of the "L" is 3 feet deep and extends out 3 feet. Outside on the balcony I have two 2x2x4 cages for my male veileds and then in the smaller dedroom we share it with Henry in his free range, but it is smaller.... 4 feet wide and 2 feet deep and is about 3.5 feet tall.... but it is made of a wire rack.. so under his free range there is room for 2-3 1.5x1.5x2.5 cages. currently two cages are setup... one for nine baby veileds and the other has a 3 month old melleri.

I keep all of mine in a greenhouse. The greenhouse is attached to the guesthouse which is no longer a guesthouse but a workshop for this hobby. :)

I LOVE CHAMELEONS!

I feel better.

And just speaking for me and all the others I know

WE LOVE YOU & YOUR CHAMELEONS

My turtles, sulcata, & all the baby corn snakes are in 1 room (cat free). The 2 Chameleons are in my bedroom (also cat free). The 4 cats also have their own room so I can lock them up when I need to take care of the other pets. My living/dining room has the tanks for my 6 frogs, 2 toads, 1 salamander, 2 bearded dragons, 2 Mexican black king snakes, 5 adult corn snakes, 2 albino nelson milk snakes, 1 rosy boa, 3 fish, & 2 geckos. The snakes are all on cat-proof racks & they can't get into the other tanks. As far as room for them, line the walls & get rid of furniture until you have enough room for all the pets :D. My apartment before my house literally had tanks lining every single wall including the kitchen.

ummm...... At this point you have to relize how rediculouse that is. Having three or four animals is fine but at that point it sounds more of an addiction. I have one animal for the two species of repiles i have (chameleon and bearded dragon) and then i have more time for them.. and can spend more money and get nicer things for them. And if you dont have enough room for your animals (as much as you may want them) then you shouldnt have them.

Hmmmmmmm -kill joy. I love this forum, makes me feel normal:eek:. I have my 3 chams in the media room (next to my desk), they are great to discuss stuff with and by having them next to each other the mist king covers all 3 cages (of course they are curtained off from each other. A 30g clown fish tank.
On my desk is a bio-orb with a bunch of interbred fresh water fish???

The guinea pig that I inherited is is the corner above the dog crate (I have 3 dogs; tea cup chihuahua, cavapoo and a goldendoodle.

In the TV room is the dart frog terrarium.

The dining room has the seahorse tank

Of course the kitchen wouldn't be complete with out the beta tank, and it's cool lights.

Lost my job in Feb. and not sure I would have made it with out my clan. Got a new and better job today, start on the July 6th, then I will get the carpets I have been oggling for awhile.:p
