Hello, So I wanted to get some horned and silk worms for my veiled cham.... Have been looking on Amazon and found this Mulburry farms site as well. I was just wondering about the quality of buying insects online... Is there a recommended site to order from? Is Amazon fine for this sort of thing? Thanks in advance for the help!

Mulberry farms has a "buy 1, get 2 horned worm cups" special sometimes. That's when I buy them.
Incredible deal!

I can never find adult silkworms I can afford. Tried raising eggs twice. It was a pain and never worth the time & effort. Just my experience.

Thanks! Have you every tried buying horned worms from Amazon? I see there are "silk worms in pod with food" 30-50 on Amazon for $19.99. I am just nervous about buying live things from Amazon. Have never done that before. Maybe I will try Mulberry farms, they seemed very natural. Def not raising insects on my own. Seems like a lot of work and still creep me out!

Great lakes hornworm is a good place to buy hornworms. Don't buy to many because they grow fast and may get to big before you can feed them all off.

Looks like those silkworms on Amazon are small to medium...

Great thank you! I haven't stumbled upon Great lakes yet in my google searches. Will check it out.

Erica,
That looks like a possibility, but when MFarms is running that B1G2 special, it's still the cheapest(even with shipping). They come out to $ .50ea or less! In a pet store, they're $1.50-$2 each!

Also, I always request she keep them small for me. I have a Carpet cham and a Juvenile Panther. When you request them small, she puts a LOT of worms in the cup!
They grow very quickly.
Another thought; I met a woman on this forum that lives near me. We often order our feeders together and save a ton of money on shipping, etc...because we can order in bulk.
