Where to buy Plastic trees?

Okay guys I need a plastic tree for my outdoor cage. I have a pothos (real) that will hang in there as well, but I want a big plastic tree as well.

The issue I am finding is all the trees I can find are silk leaves and I want plastic leaves. The few I have found that were plastic, are either not chameleon friendly trees (the leaves would be little use to them) or stupidly expensive.

I would look on ebay or Amazon. You should be able to find some with plastic leaves there. I found a palm tree with plastic leaves, but don't use it too much. I like the the branch structure better on the nearly natural silk leaved dogwood. I use it for an indoor free range when I'm cleaning cages. I added a few horizontal perches, and it looks good and functions well for what I need it for.

Ya thats where I looked is amazon. They are 99% silk trees, the few plastics are like you said Palm trees, or are 400+ dollars.

My Concern with the silk is they suck up water and dont bead it off.

I believe this is where I got mine, it was a while ago. It doesn't have great perching spots. I ended up tie wrapping branches together to make them sturdier. It may work for drinking spots, though.

I am not too worried about the perching as much as the water dripping. I seen that one on amazon my concern is the leaves, they are way to thin. I need it to generate shade from the hot arizona sun, so I can let my cham outside for a few hours a day. That thing doesn't look like it would shade anything lol. I want big leaves, like a plastic umbrella or ficus or money tree.

Yeah, that tree wouldn't give any shade at all. I hope you find one a decent price point. Maybe a pergola or shade cloth that hangs would help with the sun.

I'm in a similar situation, I have found a few good choices off Craigslist. Especially in larger cities. Plus you can usually haggle the price down.

I've shopped for many types of "artificial foliage" over the years and found the best variety from online sources, not retail stores. Do searches for "artificial shrubs and trees, artificial plants, artificial foliage, decorative silk plants," etc. The vast majority you'll find are silk, not plastic however. Some silk plants have more of a water repellent surface than others. I've found plants with larger leaves, but you often have to buy them by the branch. A clump of wide so-called "tropical foliage" can provide a lot of droplets.

Hmm Okay what is these tropical foliage you speak of? Any links for me pretty please :).

OfferUp app ... great deals! I found like 10 on there.

I grabbed one from home depot. Hopefully the leaves will hold water well enough fingers crossed. However I am thinking this and some fake vines plus the real pothos that I will put in there should do for shade and water. They didn't have them in store so I was blind but the leaves look reflective.

As for the App I live in a very small town, I have been searching without luck. That price on that tree was a steal I must say, So I will update this when I get all setup.

I am still finishing the cage, I got the cuts to prove it lol. Its 23x23x43 with screen a 1/2 hardware cloth.

It was just a quick job to get my little guy some real sun as he hasnt been feeling good. The plan is to build a huge one later, like a small room. That way as my collection grows I can let a few go out at the same time.

I may just build a few cages, with PVC dividers but then they would only get sun from the top so IDK.
