Hi Everyone,
I'm in the process of getting my Panther Chameleon Enclosure set up for the arrival of my chameleon in a little over a week. I have a Bearded dragon currently and finding bulbs for him to bask under is a royal pain. My local home improvement stores seem to have all LED/eco friendly low wattage bulbs these days. I ended up having to buy a bulb at the pet store for him. What is my best bet for locating a bulb for a cham? My ambient temp is usually 70-72 degrees so I'm thinking a 60 or 75W bulb for the enclosure (18x18x36). The only option I found were spotlights which were much too large. Do regular bulbs work for basking purposes?
Just wanted to add that I have a Reptisun 5.0 tube on order for the UVB
