You better check the laws to see why they say.
yes if i see anyThat would be so awesome just to see them in the wild And observe how they live, what kind of trees, how often they eat in the wild, etc! Can you take notes and share them with us when you get back? I’d be so interested since I have a Jackson’s.

thats where we stayingWhere are you staying in Oahu? We stayed on Waikiki Beach and found some when we were walking up Diamond Head.
I'm just thinking about the fecundity (how many eggs per clutch, clutches per female, etc.) over 50 years... Just the math is boggling.Oahu was where the Jackson's were originally released in 1972.. https://www.gaborruff.com/blog/jacksons-chameleon-hawaii/
i know its crazy been looking into where to find them apparently there everywhereI'm just thinking about the fecundity (how many eggs per clutch, clutches per female, etc.) over 50 years... Just the math is boggling.
Of course they don't all survive to reproduce, but it's still a lot of generations of chameleons.

The last time I said that, someone corrected me that they are technically ovoviviparous.@Klyde O'Scope said..."eggs per clutch"...Jacksons produce live babies...
I can't win either way.Ovoviviparous animals possess embryos that develop inside eggs that remain in the mother's body until they are ready to hatch.
