Hey guys, im looking to get my self a jackson ! but i havnt found anywhere that sell or sites that i can get a jackson :( any help ? thank you !:confused:

I live in the US and have not tried to acquire a cham in Canada, but I know that Jackson's are very rare there and much more pricey than in the US.

The reason why is because there is a large population of Jacksons chameleons that thrive in Hawaii. The WC chams from this stock have made Jacksons ubiquitous in the US. Exporting to Canada requires strict adherance to the CITES guidelines, which makes import/export more cumbersome than the average cham owner would like to deal with.

Good luck!

Captive Creations in London Ont. is about to have some Mt.Meru Jacksons available.. I just read that a couple days ago... you should check their fb page! (I'm not affiliated lol) Just sharing info! :)

https://www.facebook.com/Captivecre...efore we have any for sale. (fingers crossed)

Where are you located in Canada?

Thanks CarlyMK We should have Mt. Meru jackson chameleons born in the next 6 months. The reason they are so hard to find is because most breeders had such a hard time getting the offspring to a good age to sell and when you loose clutch after clutch for no apparent reason it makes you want to give up. there is only 1 other person I know of in Canada that sells them and he doesnt have any babies for sale either at the moment. I know this because we are always looking for more. It took 2 years to find my first pair. Hopefully with the advice we have been given we can raise them and sell them but it will be a year before we have any for sale. (fingers crossed)
I'm located in ottawa ontario :) and well one year isn't to bad I think I could wait an hopefully get one :) let me know !
