I believe I see him under the light on the right. Please tell me about all three of the lights you have on the top of the cage.

You are correct.The middle on is a 5.0 uvb and the other two are basking bulbs its only 60 in my room so its hard to keep the temp up in the cage with only one dome. Theres a gradient of 60 to high 80s in the cage.

How old is he and what are his basking temps? What are you using to check the temps?

I have two digital thermometers with probes ones is in the middle of the cage its 70 down there his basking spot is at 88 at the moment. Im guessing he is around 3-4 mos or so I cant be for certain though.

What do you have a veiled or panther? It's hard to tell from the picture. I keep 3 to 4 month olds around 83 to 84 for basking. Attached is a link to my blog for general care.

Its a veiled. Well Ill try turning one off and see how that effects things.

Thanks i guess two domes was overkill should have known better. There is alot more shade now. I can see how that would be a good thing.
