Which is better for veiled chameleons?

So I'm upgrading the cages for my veiled chams. They're currently in 16x16x30 my female is roughly 8 months old and the male that I rescued is about a year old. But he's super small. He wasn't cared for properly .

Anyway I'm looking around for new cages. Would a 36x18x36 be ok for them, or should I get the 24x24x48

OK I was just thinking about the 36x18x36 because they never go low. So I thought more room lengthwise. But I think I'll go for the 24x24x48

No they need the height....the 48 is much better

They are in separate cages. Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm upgrading both of their cages.
