Which to get? 6 month or 18 month

I keep both but my veileds seem to show the most personality but mine free range and I am very hands on with them. That's a really cute little guy but you need to get what you want and will be happy with so you can give it a forever home.

Now I am confused, someone who also has a Chameleon for sale finally emailed me back.
He says it is a 2-3 month old Veiled. It comes with the Chameleon, cage, lights, plants, vitamins, all for $150.

Which would you get, the Panther or the Veiled.

Its up to you but I like MALE panthers. Thats what IM getting!

The final decision is going to have to be yours! The panthers for that price are a steal, so it may be more bang for your buck. But as to which species you like most, that's your call. I'm personally more a fan of panthers, not just because of the colors (because I like the blues, so they aren't as flashy as the yellows and reds) but because I like their shape. I don't like the big tall casques as a general rule, so when I had a veiled I had a female, who I thought was prettier and more petite. But if you love the look of veileds then go for him. It depends on what you like.

At the end of the day he's your pet! :D You have to live with him, so pick the one you're going to be most happy with.

Getting the panther is a good decision. I wish you the best of luck. Just so you know, you are going ot have to upgrade his cage probably in a few months or so.

Thanks, I realize that, But now I have a few months to decide where he will live permanently, in his new larger cage. Since he is only getting fed 4 crickets every other day, by bumping that up to 8+ a day will he grow quicker?

Also being in Denver a VERY dry climate, is it going to be hard to maintain humidity?

Here is my other pet, a 9 month old Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure.

SIncehes a boy, and hes still growing, (panthers can keep growing until they are 2 years old) you should bump up his food intake. see how much he WIll eat, then figure out how much he should eat. but for now, id let him eat as many crickets as he can.

if you find troubles with the humidity in a screen cage, you can put a piece of pastic shower curtian on the sides of the mesh cage. i
if its really really an issue, you can get a glass cage.

Side note- Cute conure. love birds, but id really want a rose crested cockatoo!
