White crust on nose

Anyone know what this could be?

Not too sure - it looks like it COULD be a bunch of layers of stuck shed. Chameleons are dry shedders so if they get sprayed with water or soaked, etc. they'll have a lot of trouble shedding. Also, it *could* be an extreme amount of "snalt" - something that does come out of chameleon's noses sometimes. I'm going to tag a couple folks in who have more experience than I do...

Thank you, that makes sense. He does get water from the sprinklers that go off at night sometimes.
 
Did it happen all of the sudden? Can I see a few more pics please?
This is the enclosure. The other pic of him was taken on the 20th of October from the webcam. Can’t see clearly but the crust wasn’t there it seems.

Wow what a massive enclosure!

Ok tell me about your UVB lighting? your not using the mercury vapor bulb are you?


And did you by chance look close to see if somehow he got urate on his face?
