Thank you, that makes sense. He does get water from the sprinklers that go off at night sometimes.Not too sure - it looks like it COULD be a bunch of layers of stuck shed. Chameleons are dry shedders so if they get sprayed with water or soaked, etc. they'll have a lot of trouble shedding. Also, it *could* be an extreme amount of "snalt" - something that does come out of chameleon's noses sometimes. I'm going to tag a couple folks in who have more experience than I do...

I don’t have them today but can post when I am back this week. It happened over about a week, but it was a lot less crusty a few days ago.Did it happen all of the sudden? Can I see a few more pics please?
