How would you compare their disposition towards people? I'm curious. I have kept parsons before, but only about a year before selling them. I get the feeling that they get more outgoing and eager to rush down a branch and snatch a roach from your hand, when they are larger and feel less vulnerable.
With juveniles, I find parsons shy.

With melleri, I've experienced very outgoing, very grumpy, very protective, very friendly, and very indifferent, as well as shy animals. Most became gentle, docile, hand feeding, companions, but WC old timers and babies could be shy. The babies get bold quickly, though.

hello,,,,i use to keep parsons many years ago,,,,,,and I am now currently keeping mellers,,,and now they have started to breed,,,,parsons I think are very gentle giants,,,,,but lack personality,,,,,,,,mellers have a great individual personality, I have a group of 8 animals,,all are wild caught,,,,,but their behaviour is very varied from each individual,,,,and they certainly have some intelligence,,,,not just instinct,,,,,,each individual, knows what it likes and dis-likes,,,i have one which is very very tame,,,which comes out with me on my shoulder,,,to bars ,,which I sit out side when the weather is warm enough,,,,,and is not shy,,,sits on my shoulder very content and happy,,and I have others,,,that would hate to sit anywhere near me,,,,they are all individuels,,,,I find them very interesting,,,,and beautiful
