Well, just went outside to wash out a couple tanks..

I go outside to find 6 tanks completely demolished, and a box full of soaking fake plants, biovines,branches, etc.. all gone.

The damage:

1 55 gallon
3 20 gallons
2 10 gallons

about 30' of plants
10' of biovine

various smaller supplies such as supplements and a couple lights..

We aren't 100% sure of what we lost.

I'm very unhappy with this.

There really isn't anything we can do, either, we've already talked to the people that own the area we live in.. they said take it to the police. I doubt there's anything they will do.

Time to go outside and do clean up, at least for what I can. Luckily most of it broke off in larger pieces.

We just had the back door kicked in last night while we were out celebrating my roomie's 21st. They broke the security chain and kicked the door frame out. Thankfully, my little girl seems to scare people! I mean she is only a 70 pound Doberman Pinscher.. what is there to be afraid of?! They ended up changing their minds I guess b/c nothing is missing. I'm sorry you got a lot your things destroyed, all you can do is file a police report. People can really stink sometimes.

What The F%&* omg i am soooo sorry. I really will never understand why people are so destructive and inconsiderate of others. It is worth taking to the police though because it is more than $500 in damage right? so if they catch the little F$%k$r(s) they will be facing time and LOTS of problems. We bought most of the stuff of craigslist. We don't have receipts etc.. except the biovines which we got off LLL. The rest of the stuff was basically got all of it for under $200.

Ouch! This morning I went outside to see the neighbor's car windows looked knocked in. The police were here, I gave them my info as well. Hopefully that will give them a little push knowing it keeps happening.

Step 3. Make 2 peanutbutter and strawberry jelly samiches.

Step 4. Place a 10gal tank in the yard as bait.

Step 5. Sit and wait for them to return.

They also can't file frivolous lawsuits against victimized home owners.

Unfortunate this day and age, unless they bring WMDs with them and actually USE them during the break in/robbery the police don't do jack sh*t, so Jay's advice is about the only course of action a home owner has anymore. Shoot first ask questions later.
