Yeah, I thought that too - plus he couldn't seem to use his tongue very well either! AND he's fed with mealworms, although she said he has the freshly moulted ones, the one he managed to eat had coloured up! Dusting is a little overdone too ...
Something doesn't seem quite right with him.

The bones in his arms seem to be slightly deformed from MBD, you can see the curving. However, I am not bashing her or talking badly of the owner. I am just stating what I see, and his bite does seem very off. I have older chams. and their bones do not look like that and their bites are not way off.

What if she only fed him 2 that were dusted like that and the rest not? It's the same as dusting each one a little bit. I'm not too sure about the chameleon though, I don't want to bash her without knowing how she actually cares for it.

ya you guys are assuming to much, unless you actually know how she is caring for that veiled i wouldnt really even bother trying to warn her unless you have actually talked to her. It is an old veiled, maybe his bones have gotten like that over the years? who knows, we dont. Who knows how many meal worms she gives him, or how heavily she dusts them like that. so IMO i think its best to just leave the girl be. if you really have something to say than instead of posting it to her maybe try sending a message to the youtube channel instead of hating on her...

I got old chameleons that dont look like that. I never seem a mouth like that on a healthy chameleon. Poor guy.

im not complaining about the way SHE takes care of it all. but seeing as this is a "lab", it could be MULTIPLE faults. how do you know Carle is old? i dont think she once mentioned the age, unless i made a booboo and missed it. his limbs are bowed, it walks like an iguana, and his mouth looks like a murray eel, he can hardly use his tounge. but his colours are extreamly beautiful and all else looks healthy. i feel very terrible for this poor guy, old age or not, no animal should become like this also too, i shall go along with some other posters and say. *ahem* that dust is rediculous. regardless if theyve only dusted two like that and not the rest. thats still an absured amount. they look like snow worms. she mentioned "they like alot of humidity and alot of heat". false? they dont like alot of heat but they do like a heated area. i dont think she mentioned ANYTHING about uv lighting either, which could also be a major reasoning to his MBD. poor guys. i agree with the o.p, someone should contact her and inform her, or atleast see from her perspective how it got this way, and what its enviornment is like.

She responds to a comment about MBD by saying their vet is one of the best specialists in the country and that Carl is a senior citizen, not a case of MBD. It's in the comments.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm the owner of that chameleon needs to be IMMEDIATELY contacted and convinced that her animal is suffering. If we need to bash her then so be it -- BUT THE POINT HAS TO GET ACROSS. She should be ashamed and providing intensive care to this animal, not freaking harassing it on a slippery glass table. Of course it is "trying to act all tough" it has a stupid pink ape in glasses prodding its deformed, haggard, warped skeleton.
If there was a mighty chameleon god (up on some mountain in Africa) he would smash every bone in her body.
Now, that said, I wouldn't give a cr#p if she made chameleon soup out of it -- she should be able to do whatever she wants in a free country -- BUT SHE AND OTHER PEOPLE THINK IT LOOKS FINE!!!!! CRAZYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

That video is over a year old. I left a comment asking how old the chameleon is and if he's still alive. He might not even be around anymore. I've come to learn that a lot of people on youtube don't want to listen to advice on their chameleons. You can try, but you may not get any response, especially on a video that's been up for awhile.
Nobody knows how old the chameleon is, under what circumstances the girl came to have it or for how long she's had it. Its fine to talk to her but IMHO there is no reason to come down hard on her when we don't know all the details....all that does is alienate the person.

Exactly! This is not a discussion that needs to happen HERE...as far as we know, the owner isn't here. And, let's be honest...would she own up at the moment? Maybe later, but now where there are loads of CAPSLOCK posts about how evil she is (and, note how it's all about her....like her husband isn't holding the camera and also responsible for the animal)?

You need to learn some respect. For all you know she adopted it from someone who's lack of care caused the chameleon its health issues. Your emotions are getting ahead of your logic, calm down.
