Curious how many nozzles all you mistking/aquazamp owners use and on what size cage? I built a 4hx3Lx2w cage a few weeks ago and before my guy had the whitest urate ever and now ever since his big boy cage its been kind of orangish. I'm thinking of getting an extra nozzle to drench more of the cage with water and was curious what everyone uses.

i was using a raindome and a misting nozzle on a 2x2x4 and it worked pretty good but my newest set up just has a raindome and so far thats been working, although with the extra foot you have i would use 2.. just my opinion.

are you thinking of using one extra nozzle? because they also have one unit with two nozzles and also one unit with four nozzles. Didn't know if you knew about that!!

Ya I am thinking about it. I did know they have the 2 in 1 nozzle but Im not sure if it would work better then getting just 1 and putting in the opposite corner?

On my 2x2x4 cages I only used one nozzle and had no problem with my chameleons going towards the water. But now I have one 5x4x2.5 cage and for that one I definitely use 2. I might even add a third, since I have an extra nozzle left over, I'm debating whether it will be overkill or not.

i use 1 nozzle for a veiled 2x2x4 cage
2 nozzles for multituberculata 2x2x4 cage

3 nozzles in a 2x2x4. One near the bottom spraying upwards, the two others in the two back corners of the enclosure.

lol.. why though? it never rains from the ground... lol

I use 3 placed left, right, center and rear in my 50"X20"X54" (see profile album for pic) to provide lateral coverage with minor overlap. It will really depend on how close your foliage is to the misters. And whether you're going for humidity or drinking water. Humidity....away from the plants or has high as possible. Drinking water closer to the plants.

I have a cage the exact size as yours with a veiled in it for a couple years. I run one nozzle in the corner spraying to his basking spot and the centre of the cage. It covers the leaves on two plants with water no problem. 5 minutes morning and late afternoon and 3 minutes mid day. I have a tray in the bottom that catches the water and with one nozzle it needs to be wiped out every other day. If you run two nozzles you should have a real good drainage system!!
When I first moved my guy into his big cage it took him a bit to settle in and figure where his heat/water/food was. Is it possible your guy is just getting used to his new digs?? You could mist him by hand till he drinks if you are concerned for now.

It could be he's still getting used to his water area but with the nozzle in the back left corner it doesn't reach to the right side Plant. I'll probably end up getting another nozzle I was just curious how many everyone uses

I saw your cage. Your boy looks mighty happy in that. I wish I had the room for a cage that size

Thank you! I'm lucky I have a spare second bedroom now, but I'm worried that I won't know what to do with it in the future if I move to a one bedroom. Sounds to me like some other furniture might end up in storage!

4 on a panther chameleon cage thats 2X2X6, but they are all in different places so all of the cage is getting hit exept for a dry spot i made for my chameleon
