Our veiled female has squealed before. She has also hissed but it was definitely a squeal - almost a cry. I never heard of them squealing before so it is good to know that Jade is not the only one. Jade was frightened when she squealed so I don't know if it is a good thing when yours is squealing. I would try to figure out why the squealing is taking place by looking very careful at the surrounding environment.
