Why he's slightly dehydrated

I brought him home about 6 months ago. His poop was brown and white. Then it changed to slightly tinted with orange. I mist 3 times a day fogger and a drip system. I can't seem to get him completely hydrated. Any ideas???

How much do you feed him and how often? Have you had a fecal done to rule out parasitic involvement?

The natural functions of the gastrointestinal system will dehydrate fecal matter and urates. So, how often does he defecate? The urates being retained too long can cause this as well.

Have you tried showering him? Also, I would try feeders that promote hydration as well. Hornworms, silkworms, etc. That may help, plus, if he is constipated, feeders like this can aid in helping clear the intestines.

While trying various methods of hydration, I would still get a fecal done. IMO

Can you post a pic of him?

I haven't tried the shower yet. I have never fed him silkworms. But I feed hornworms for hydration. It seems to help. I need to get fecal tested. He goes about every two days. It seems.

Misting with warm water seems to encourage him to drink. But hardly ever see him drink. Once in a while.

Beautiful chameleon!
Can you show another photo of him so I can see his left arm.
Can you answer the questions in the how to ask for help thread at the top of the health forum so we can help you better.
