Why isnt my chameleon eating?

Its wild caught.. go for parasite test, i guess humm pin worms

Buying WC animal always come with a big vet bill and it can take up to 2 year to get rid of any traces of parasites, Also.. as he is a WC you should really be carefull about watering schedule, during the trip the kidney have probably suffered so you need too provide 3 time more water at the begining than a CB..

how and with what kind of food do you force feed him?

What is your uvb?

My female veiled did something like this before. One day I went to feed her and she would not eat. I tried various foods, I had no success. I thought this meant that she was going to lay eggs. So, I made the sand mixture and put her in with lighting and heat for 24 hours. No eggs. I did this again for several days. Feeding and then trying to make her lay a clutch. On the 10th day I hopelessly tried feeding her once again. At this point I had scheduled an appointment for her at the vet. The only thing different about the crickets I fed her that day was the fact that they were 1/4” instead of 1/2” or 3/4”, to my surprise, she gobbled them down.
