I have found several wild chameleons living in my backyard in florida..right now there is a beautiful one in my flower garden..does it get too cold for them in the wild?i do not want to remove him from the wild.thanks...
He or she is probably a vieled chameleon if you are in Florida, near fort myers area, they have proven to stay alive even through our super cold seasons so I wouldn't worry about it. They have been established in florida for about 10 years.
