Winter is early for us

Wow, I'm up in Minnesota near Duluth and winter has come about a month early. Last Thursday we got 10 inches of snow. It melted down to half of that in a couple days, but a cold snap froze the remains into an icey base layer. It has been much colder than usual for this time of year and we are getting 3-5 more inches as I type this. Ugh! It's gonna be a long winter...

I feel for you @Scottsquatch. My wife's family is up in msp and she was laughing at all the snow they are getting last night. Makes for good snuggling weather with the mrs though at least .

I hope you don't rely on shipped insects. we are having a late Fall here in Maryland. September was like August and October was like September was supposed to be... Not complaining though.

I have 7 different bug colonies, I shoud be good to go.
